| The P260 stapler shares many parts with the
P220 stapler or with the P210 and P240 nailers. In addition,
improvements to the tool usually maintain full compatibility among
parts. Major improvements are listed below. Check part number for
possible incompatibility.

| Jan 2006 | The P037/P522 driver/piston assembly (with socket-head screw mount) was replaced with the new P137/P622 assembly (screw-in mount). |
| Feb 2007 | A new valve assembly was introduced on some models. It uses a snap-on design to assemble the actuator components together. Check if your valve assembly uses screw P-544B and check below to order the correct replacement part. See note for more details. |
