Adjustable base plate
The Q550's fully adjustable base plate is second to none. First, it sets against the front of the tongue, reducing the risk of damaging the top edge of the flooring. Second, it features a shim-less height adjustment through the action of a cam mechanism. Together, both actions allow for infinite adjustment to precisely position the nail into the nail pocket of the board.
